How Your Ideas Make It into the Game

Aviators, we appreciate your suggestions for changes to the game and strive to listen to your opinions. If we find a suggestion interesting and it aligns with our vision for Sky Combat 2, we will take note of it and consider it when working on upcoming updates.

In this article, we have compiled the most common situations.

Our team always tries to find a balance between implementing important changes as quickly as possible and not releasing an unfinished, raw feature that could disappoint players. Therefore, the time taken to implement an idea can vary.

For example, if a suggestion is substantial, it cannot be implemented quickly.

The chat feature is a clear example of this and is definitely scheduled for implementation in the game.Usually, tasks like this take several months to implement. This is because, in addition to the development itself, we need to:

— Consider various nuances related to the new feature;

— Anticipate potential risks and their solutions;

— Create documentation that reflects all the details of the upcoming change.

That’s when we can move forward with development.

After development, the feature enters a testing phase, where potential issues may be identified — which can further extend the implementation timeline. We are not ready to release a low-quality product, so we always test all features before release. Unfortunately, this does not mean that no player will encounter errors. It means that we will release a working version that the majority of players can enjoy.

Sometimes, things don’t work as expected or work differently. These are most often related to the player’s device or other environmental factors. In such cases, we always recommend contacting our support service at skycombat@azurgames.com.

Another example could be a suggestion for something completely new that doesn’t yet exist in the game and hasn’t been planned. In this case, the timeframe can vary widely, but it will still take at least a few months. This is because the idea must go through the approval process and the game designer must create documentation and develop the idea. The fastest we can release such an innovation is in the next game version, or the one after that. A significant factor in this process is the type of change that needs to be made to the game.

Another example is a suggestion related to an existing game mechanic or feature. This could be a request to change the size of the in-game UI or a suggestion for a daily quest rotation. We can complete these tasks fairly quickly as they don’t require much work. Additionally, some suggestions may partially overlap with what we were already planning to implement and are actively working on. In this case, the implementation time may be minimal because most of the work is already complete.

Thank you for sharing your ideas and suggestions with us 🤍
