Friends, today we invite you to review the preliminary list of changes for Season 60!
Update 1.83 will introduce a number of changes affecting various aspects of the game. Based on your feedback, we want to make your experience in MSO even better. Your input helps us shape our plans for the game’s continued development and improvement.
⚠️The list of features presented is preliminary — it may change and be supplemented until the season is released.
Profile progression and rewards
The maximum profile level will be reduced to 120. When the update is released, all players between levels 101 and 200 will be moved to level 100. Profile levels below 100 will remain unchanged.
Rewards for reaching new levels have been updated. Based on your feedback, we have revised their value to better reflect your progression.
Access to game content based on profile level
The player’s profile level will now determine access to game content. Upon reaching the required level, players will gain access to new in-game items.
Players who obtain higher-level items through the Battle Pass or by other means will still be able to use them, even if their profile level is below the requirement.
Weapon and armor upgrade system
We have simplified the weapon and armor upgrade mechanics to make them easier to understand.
Installing gadgets will allow you to customize weapons to suit your playstyle and will affect your experience while using them.
We have removed the chance-based mechanic from weapon and armor upgrades. All upgrades are now guaranteed to succeed.
We are temporarily pausing the seasonal weapon rarity upgrade mechanic. However, any weapons with increased rarity that you have previously obtained will remain in your inventory, and you will be able to use them in matches as usual.
Weapon and ability balance changes
Each weapon and class will now feel distinct. For example, shotguns will be more effective at close range, while machine guns will allow you to exhaust your opponent with long bursts of fire.
All active weapon abilities will trigger automatically once their specified conditions are met. Manual activation will no longer be available.
These changes will give players more freedom to create unique loadouts for each match and make combat more tactical.
Starting with this update, all previously disabled weapons will be gradually restored and adjusted to align with the current balance. Players will be able to obtain and use them just like any other weapon.
Matchmaking balance and rewards
We have improved the matchmaking system to make battles fairer and more balanced.
To compete effectively against opponents, players will need to keep their equipment aligned with their current profile progression level.
Rewards for completing battles have also been revised and will now be distributed more consistently and fairly.
The return of Smuggling
With the update’s release, “Smuggling” will return to the game in an improved way!
Available to all players at profile level 11 or higher.
Keys used to open cases will still be obtainable from various sources, including as rewards for completing matches.
The list of possible rewards has been revised to better match each player’s progression level.
Battle Pass changes
We are disabling the Supreme Battle Pass. Players will no longer be able to switch between the Seasonal and Supreme Battle Passes. Those who previously activated the Supreme Battle Pass will receive compensation when the update is released.
Battle Pass rewards have also been updated to match your in-game progression better.
Other changes and improvements
The number of points required to win in Deathmatch mode has been reduced.
Melee weapons, combat skills, and grenades now deal percentage-based damage calculated from the opponent’s combined health and armor.
Skills related to health, armor, and armor regeneration have been reworked. These skills, along with “Mastery: Sniper Rifles II”, now provide percentage-based bonuses.
Most abilities have been reworked and rebalanced.
Game performance has been improved, and various issues have been fixed.
Voice chat
We understand how important it is to communicate with your teammates during a match, and we have heard your requests to bring voice chat back. However, we also want to ensure that the feature returns in the best possible form, which will require a little more time. Voice chat will return to the game in a future update.
New map
Bunker is a new map added to the game and available in all modes! Check out the new battleground in our overview video!
New Season 60: Desert Dust
A new Battle Pass featuring valuable rewards!
New Armor and Weapons
Dune Ghost armor — Armor without sparkly glitter or loud designs. The durable plates are form-fitting, allowing you to breathe easy and move freely. This armor gradually increases protection against mines and grenades up to the maximum value. The bonus resets after receiving explosive damage or you respawn.
Dune Ghost boots — These boots know what it’s like to walk on burning coals and stand on thin ice. These boots increase resistance to fire damage over time and to damage from mines and claymores.
The Rattlesnake assault rifle is optimized for desert combat. Its lightweight design with carbon fiber components reduces weight and increases mobility. It also features a dust-and-sand filtration system with wear-resistant alloy components to ensure operation in extreme conditions.
Its Upgraded Rhythm ability increases the damage of each specific shot by a certain percentage.
New melee weapon — The Copperhead spear. The standard weapon of desert troops. The shaft is made of composite materials with a camouflage cover.
New armor elements and the Rattlesnake assault rifle are available as rewards in the new “Smuggling” season’s cases!
Google Play achievements and Sidekick support
This update will introduce new Google Play achievements. Prove your mastery of the game and collect them all!
Sidekick support (Google’s in-game overlay) makes it easy to track your achievement progress and view your profile without leaving the game.
Friends, we understand that Update 1.83 is one of the largest updates we have released in quite some time. While working on it, we carefully reviewed your feedback, suggestions, and requests to make the game even more engaging and diverse.

Your feedback is especially important to us. After the update is released, we will closely monitor your responses, analyze your experience, and make further adjustments and improvements where necessary. We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
