Preliminary list of changes. Update 1.80
- 06.02.2026
- Modern Strike Online
Fighters, today we invite you to review the preliminary list of changes for Update 1.80!
⚠️ The list of features presented is preliminary — it may change and be supplemented until the update is released.
Gameplay Changes
- Changes to squad play bonuses.
We’ve updated the squad bonus system. Bonuses are now percentage-based instead of fixed. Previously, rewards didn’t depend on your performance in battle. Now it works differently: the better a fighter performs, the more rewards they earn. Play actively, support your squad, and get the maximum bonuses.
How rewards are calculated:
For successful actions in a match (headshots, multikills, and more), the player earns rewards in the form of credits, player XP, Battle Pass points, and clan XP. At the end of the match, all rewards are summed up and then increased by the following bonuses:
- Squad bonus:
- + 5% player XP;
- + 10% credits;
- + 15% clan XP;
- + 40% Battle Pass points.
- Full squad bonus:
- + 20% player XP;
- + 40% credits;
- + 30% clan XP;
- + 60% Battle Pass points.
- Updated weapon list in the Gunlust mode. The weapon set has been revised, making battles more varied and dynamic.
- Moved the “Leave Clan” button to the lower-left corner. This change reduces the number of accidental taps.
Balance changes
- Artemis Bow prestige — reduced range, rate of fire, and projectile flight speed.
- Bot loadouts have been brought up to current values.
- The damage-over-time (DoT) system has been reworked.
- The number of cartridges for some shotguns has been increased.
Weapon Rarity Upgrade
In the new season, we are upgrading the rarity of the following weapons, giving them improved stats and value:
- Soul Absorber submachine gun is a prestige version of a heavy SMG. Strong at close and mid range. Each hit on an enemy restores armor and health.
- Bright Flame assault wyrm is a prestige version of a light assault rifle that excels at mid range. Each hit sets the enemy on fire, dealing burn damage every 0.1 seconds for 1 second.
- Samurai Rage machine gun is a prestige version of a light machine gun with a massive ammo capacity. While holding this weapon, the player gains 20% increased damage resistance.
- Soul Absorber submachine gun is a prestige version of a heavy SMG. Strong at close and mid range. Each hit on an enemy restores armor and health.
- Blade Runner shotgun is a prestige version of an automatic shotgun. Strong at close range. When you kill an enemy with a headshot, a bonus damage phase activates and lasts for 300 seconds, or until you fire 1 shot.

New Weapons, Character and Combat Skill
- Basilisk-7 sniper rifle is a high-precision marksman rifle built for urban combat. It eliminates enemies at medium and long range. It comes with two magazines. When the ability is activated, the player swaps the current magazine for an enhanced one that grants 40% additional damage. Reloading removes the effect.
- Tyrant80 special weapon – an ultimate CQB weapon with laser-cut rounds. When fired, the bullet splits into fragments, causing critical bleeding and blocking target regeneration. When the ability is activated, the weapon fires special bullets. These bullets block enemy health regeneration and have a 5% chance to critically hit.
While aiming down sights with the ability active, the critical hit chance increases by 10%, and recoil is reduced by 20%.

- Active Camouflage combat skill is a nanobot capsule that forms an ultra-thin cloaking layer on the operator, reflecting the surroundings to achieve complete invisibility.
When activated, it switches you into invisibility mode for 20 seconds. While invisible, both auto-fire and manual fire are disabled.
Invisibility is removed when:
- Manually deactivated;
- Using grenades;
- Using abilities;
- Taking damage.
Re-entering invisibility is activated automatically 3 seconds after leaving combat. (Leaving combat is defined as a state where the fighter does not perform any attacking actions and does not receive damage.)
